MagiClean Cleaning Service is owned and run by Misty Cale in Burlington, Iowa. It started as a cleaning business, one person and a spray bottle, and it grew the way small-town businesses grow: a client told a neighbor, the neighbor told a landlord, and the schedule filled up.

Today the work covers most of what a house or a small business needs cleaned. Weekly and monthly homes, offices after hours, short-term rentals between guests, empty houses at a lease end, and the dust left behind when a remodel wraps up. It is still a small crew, and it still runs on word of mouth.

How we work

Misty still meets most new clients in person. She walks the house or the shop, asks what matters to you, and sets a price before anything starts. The team that shows up after that is bonded and insured, and for recurring clients it is the same faces each visit.

Making customers happy is what the business runs on. When a client asks for floors and bathrooms and the counters are a mess, the counters get wiped. When a rental has a guest arriving at four, the turnover is done by three.
